Two FCA investigations into unauthorised debt and claims management activities have led to arrests.

In collaboration with West Midlands Police, the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit, and Police Scotland, the FCA recently carried out two operations targeting unauthorised financial activities. As part of these operations, seven addresses were searched across the West Midlands, Cambridgeshire, Stirling, and Cumbernauld.

Two individuals were arrested in Birmingham and Huntingdon, suspected of conducting debt and claims management activities without FCA authorisation.

The suspects were interviewed under caution and subsequently released, while investigations into their activities remain ongoing.
